Welcome to Old Ruts Rugby. I’m Caroline Pitt, the Rugby Chair, and I’m incredibly proud to serve as the club’s first-ever female chair, a reflection of how forward-thinking, inclusive, and community, driven Old Ruts truly is.
At Old Ruts Rugby, we believe rugby is for everyone. Our club offers playing opportunities from age 3 right through to Vets, with a thriving girls’ and women’s section that continues to grow year on year. We’re more than just a club, we’re a community. On and off the pitch, we support our players and their families, and it’s this spirit that has earned us the nickname “The Ruts Family.”

Old Ruts is a great club with a very friendly atmosphere and there are lots of social events throughout the year.
Great family oriented club building a true community spirit!
A great family club catering for all ages, the club is very inclusive and my boys have met new friends, loved the festivals and rugby weekend trips. The club house has great views over the pitches and there is always a friendly face to say hello to, great bar with well-priced beer!
This is a great club for rugby, cricket and football. A nice family environment with a lovely club house.
