Welcome to Old Ruts Rugby. I’m Paul Cecil, the Chairman here at Old Ruts. We pride ourselves on being a community driven, family oriented Rugby Club and are always on the lookout for new members, whether it’s as part of our Seniors, Juniors or Kids First section.
We’re especially proud of our achievements in growing membership at all levels of the game by placing the emphasis on fun and inclusion for all.
We also try to support our players and parents off the pitch and our recent training of volunteers on Mental Health First Aid is another great initiative for us.

Old Ruts is a great club with a very friendly atmosphere and there are lots of social events throughout the year.
Great family oriented club building a true community spirit!
A great family club catering for all ages, the club is very inclusive and my boys have met new friends, loved the festivals and rugby weekend trips. The club house has great views over the pitches and there is always a friendly face to say hello to, great bar with well-priced beer!
This is a great club for rugby, cricket and football. A nice family environment with a lovely club house.
