This season has been a successful one for the club.

The senior section has now regular three teams playing under the guidance of Paul Cecil, the Senior’s chairman. We have recruited more players than we have for a long time Many of the players have come through from our youth sides. The 2nd & 3rd teams are performing well in their leagues and cup matches.

The 1st XV are heading for promotion to Surrey 1 having secured a victory over Old Caterhamians last week (68-24). It has been for the fifteen years since they have been there.

The 1st XV’s final league game on 28th March will be at home to Old Amplefordians and may decide, between the two sides, who will be Surrey 2 league champions. We intend to have a lunch at 1 pm for supporters before the match. Those supporters, who are going to the Association Annual Dinner in the evening, I suggest, should come ‘suited & booted.’ If you want to come to this lunch, contact Mike Stallard at rstallard@btinternet.com.

Unfortunately we are postponing the Rugby Club Day on 14th March because of the threat of Coronavirus. If we have to postpone other events, we will keep the website posted.

Finally, we will be having the Rugby Club Annual Dinner on 9th May. It should be a great night and a bit different this year, as we have added some entertainment. If you want to come contact Paul Cecil at paulcecil@blueyonder.co.uk.
